Repetto

When researching I came across a photograph that showed lots of fashion ballet shoes in all different colours. As i know that the product Ballet candy is going to be brightly coloured my attention was immediately drawn to this photograph.

I really like this image because I like how the rainbow effect of all the shoes show of the design and colour. The image is brightly lit and includes a model showing how the shoes should be worn. I think this image is very basic and more could be done to give it more of an edge.

When looking at the Repetto website I noticed that they seemed to be a brand that sold dance wear but also sold dance wear in a fashionable way. On the website was a range called "Repetto seen by..." this page portrayed a number of different styled ballet shoes , such as pointe shows, recreated by different designers to mark the 60th anniversary of Maison Repetto.

I liked how these styled shoes all carried an edge to them and didn't just present the innocence of Ballet which is so often shown in the media.
